Local Liberal Democrat campaigner Oliver Brooks has condemned local Conservatives for misleading voters in their election leaflets about local library services.

Oliver Brooks said: "The local Conservatives printed a "School Report" on the previous Labour run

Council and, rightly, scored Labour 0/10 for their massive cuts to library services.

"Local voters may have been misled into thinking the Conservatives would be reversing the cuts,

but instead they have recently announced a further 19 hours of cuts to library hours."
